| Life can be complicated especially if you need to sell your home quickly. Taking the traditional route of using a real estate agent, you have to get your home in pristine condition and keep it that way through all the annoying showings which will keep you away from your home while strangers roam about. If a potential buyer is found, then the buyer qualification waiting game begins. Meanwhile, you continue to be responsible for your payments while you cross your fingers and hope that the lender will approve the potential buyer in the next 30-60 days or so. This period of uncertainty can be very hectic. The reality is often that with little or no equity, there is not much room for a commission, therefore making it unlikely that a real estate agent would accept the listing or, the first buyer may be unsuccessful getting a mortgage and you might have to start the whole process all over again. |
